First Time?

Visiting a new church for the first time is not easy. There are many things to think about that can make one uneasy, like, What should I wear?  Where do I go when I arrive?  What about my kids? What is the music like?

We want you to have a wonderful experience when you come visit Bell Road Church of the Nazarene. The information listed below will hopefully answer some of your questions before you visit. We look forward to meeting you!

When are your services?
We gather for Sunday School each Sunday morning at 10 am. The Sunday school classes are divided into groups – for children, teens and adults. Our Worship Service begins at 11 am.  Whether you come early, a little late, or right on time, we would love to have you, and you are always welcome!

Where do I park?
The building is set back off of Bell Road and can be hard to see coming from the East.  Look for the “Bell Road Church of the Nazarene” sign, turn into the driveway, and you’ll find there is plenty of parking along the sides of the church.  If you are a visitor, you may park in the areas marked “Visitor Parking” near the main entrance of the building. There is also handicapped parking clearly labeled.

What door do I enter?
The main entrance is centered under the awning.  It leads right into the foyer.

What should I wear?
You will see that some people wear jeans, shorts, slacks, and some people wear their “Sunday Best.”  Wear what you feel comfortable in.

What will happen in the services?
Sunday school at 10 am is divided into groups by age.  The classes meet in the fellowship hall and in the classrooms off the fellowship hall.

The Worship Service begins with announcements and greeting time, prayer and mission moment.  We then Worship in Song,Tithes and Offerings, and then Pastor Jacobi Campbell brings us the Word of God.

What about my kids?
We have a nursery available for infants through age 3. Please make sure to sign your child in and leave bag of items that the child will need such as diapers, wipes, snacks, change of clothes, etc.  Older children may attend the Sunday School class at 10 am, however, during the worship service at 11 am, kids will be dismissed for Kids’ Church with Mrs. Lilly.  Parents can pick up their children in the fellowship hall after the service.

What is the music like?
The worship music consists of a blend of hymns and modern songs led by our worship team with instruments such as piano, guitars, bass, drums and various other instruments.  The worship time is something we anticipate each Sunday as we are gathered together.
